The Rural Access Network

RAN was established in 2017 to market telecommunications services in rural communities.
RAN is part of MTC Communications, which was incorporated in 1996 as a subsidiary of McDonough Telephone Cooperative.

RAN’s mission is simple: provide affordable, reliable, and scalable service to its customers.

Through aggregating ILECs, CLECs and other fiber providers, RAN affords the opportunity to offer advanced services in underserved rural areas, connecting them to a world of opportunities. RAN has grown rapidly to encompass a large radius of rural Illinois and plans to expand further with the aid of our partner providers .

With Ran, rural customers no longer need to sacrifice connectivity for location.
